Introduction
Our herb farm is located by the beautiful River Navesti next to Soomaa National Park, near Kuresoo bog. The farm stands on the terrace of the former Baltic Ice Lake, and due to its natural background and geological base, the farm has a special energy field.
We grow and collect herbs in an unpolluted environment. Herb fields lie on several hectares and the most common herbs are chamomile, calendula, St. John’s wort and peppermint. Our herbs are grown without mineral fertilizers and chemical repellents.
We organise study days and training courses on folk medicine. All guests are welcome to taste organic teas and delicious food including traditional Estonian dishes prepared from local products, some of them organic.
There are herb study trails. In May 2010 we are opening a new tea house, a barbecue hall, an observation tower and a boat pier.
We provide accommodation on the farm in 4 double rooms, one triple room and a large family room (for up to 8 people). We also provide a sauna, Jacuzzi, tavern and a beautiful summer garden with barbecue. Free parking area. Room prices start from 39 euro.
It is possible to organise conferences and other events for up to 30 people. Groups are more than welcome. We can provide all-inclusive packages, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and all the activities a group could wish for.
We will show you the best hiking trails to the bogs and forests of Soomaa, and to the Navesti river. We organize cultural trips to Viljandi and Pärnu County. We offer many services to help guests experience Soomaa’s wilderness. (see under activities)
