Peri Vollas

Introduction

Peri Vollas offers horseback riding and outdoor activities such as hiking and climbing in and around the beautiful natural setting of the Rila Mountains. Professional and experienced guides are provided for an optimal experience.
The family offer both children and adult programmes: hiking to see natural attractions – activities such as bird watching, collecting herbs, and a forestry educational program as well as surviving in nature programmes. They also provide hypotherapy (healing with horses). 
The family provides information to their guests about the cultural and natural attractions of the region and offer them guided tours, organised picnics in the mountains, presentation of different local traditions (St. George`s day, St. Todor`s Day, etc.); review of traditional costumes and others. 
Peri Vollas also offers delicious food including traditional Bulgarian dishes (mainly barbecue) prepared from locally sourced products. 
Riding is possible hourly, for a day, for 2 days or several days, for the price of 13 euro/hour.
