Introduction

Vildmark Särna is a company offering wilderness experiences for ordinary people. They offer canoe and hiking trips, moose-safaris, snow-mobile safaris and photo courses in the beautiful area of Fulufjället National Park, the most southern part of the Swedish mountains. They offer their activities and guiding in both winter- and summer-time. They want to give you a nature experience that you can remember with joy.

Vildmark Särna is located in Särna, 25 km from Fulufjället National Park.

Activities

Moose-safari
The moose-safari starts at Fulufjällsbyn, where you get some basic information about the moose. After this introduction you can go out and look for them. For booking please phone or e-mail us directly, or the reception in Fulufjällsbyn. You can make your booking until the last Saturday before the day of the safari. Maximum 8 people can take part on the safari at a time, and there should be at least 4 adults.
Taking part on the moose-safari costs 500 SEK for adults and 300 SEK for children up to 15 year.

Canoeing
The starting point of the canoe trips is the Särna Touristoffice. You can rent 3-person Canadian canoes and 1-person kayaks, including life-vests and paddles. You will get some instruction at the start and a map. For booking please call us or e-mail us one day before your arrival.
Canoe rental costs 300 SEK for a day. After this you need to pay some transport cost, which is about 100 – 200 SEK.
Waterproofs for 30 SEK/day and a trolley for 50 SEK/day.
