Wilderness tips

Rowing in the midnight sun
Only this far up north can you experience the midnight sun. No reason to go to bed early! Enjoy the silence of the evening and the midnight sun.

Lapland experience
In wintertime the special Northern light can be seen. Go out in the evening and walk to a cabin that is far from villages and street light. Deserted places are the best for enjoying and photographing this natural phenomenon. Telling stories, taking a sauna, and going ice fishing.

Dogsledging tour
Spending the day outside, with the animals in the snow. Warm clothes and good food, prepared on self-made fire in a cosy Kota (a Finnish cabin) far from civilisation. You feel as if you visited another planet. For a real Scandinavian feeling the night can be spent in a wilderness cabin.

Tracing wild animals
Wilderness is associated with wild animals. Unfortunately, these animals are difficult to see. However, it can be really exciting to follow the trail of the animals in the evening or early morning when the chances to see them are the biggest.
