Park’s location
Majella National Park is situated in Abruzzo Region, Central Italy, which is one of the most impressive and extensive mountain range of the whole of the Apennines. Out of its sixty peaks, half of them are higher than 2000 m and Mt Amaro is the second highest peak of the Apennines.
