  How to get there

Air travel: Nearest international airports: Warszawa (490 km, 7 to 8 hrs drive); Kraków (300 km, approx 5 hrs drive); domestic airport: Rzeszów 170 km, 2 & ½ hrs drive).


Railway: Long-distance train destination: Zagórz (89 km, 1 & ½ hrs drive); hint: get off at station Sanok in order to change for bus; local trains (not very frequent) to Ustrzyki Dolne (48 km, ¾ hr drive).


Bus:
regular services, main local bus stations: Rzeszów Sanok, Lesko, Ustrzyki Dolne, more frequent in summer (July-August).


Shuttle:
private buses and vans, available at railway stations.


Road:
direction Ustrzyki Dolne, then follow road 896 to Ustrzyki Gó rne, 48 km, ¾ hr(main road, accessible almost throughout the whole year); from Barwinek PL/SK border crossing: turn right in Tylawa and follow road 897, in winter the last section Wetlina-Ustrzyki Górne may be hardly accessible.

Notice: driving conditions in winter (November-April) may be extremely difficult especially on mountain roads, appropriate winter tyres and skills required, snow-chains will not help much, be prepared for digging in the snow, a torch-light is a must, a sleeping bag may sometimes be useful as well. Regular phones are available in every village.

Admission fees

Visitors are supposed to pay a daily entrance fee to the Bieszczady National Park.
The price is 3 PLN per adult and 2 PLN per children/student, pensioners pay only half the total price. Some special groups of visitors can be free of admission fees e.g. people with disabilities.
