Riisa Rantso

A guesthouse right in the heart of Soomaa National Park with great views on River Halliste

Introduction

Riisa Rantśo is a questhouse located by River Halliste in the middle of Soomaa National Park. The accommodation facilities consists of three types of newly renovated houses. All rooms offer a nice view to the river, forests and nearby fields. Guests may also enjoy the Russian sauna, Finnish sauna or hot bathtubs next to the river. Children are welcome to the property - there are swing sets, a crossbeam, a ballpark and a sand-ox. We also have places for tents.

Location

Riisa Rantśo located in Pärnumaa Riisa village.

From Pärnu:
drive towards Tori town and from there head to Jõesuu. About 50m after the Jõesuu settlement’s border there are signs that tell you to turn right to the Riisa village (8km). Riisa Rantšo is located in Riisa village on the right side of the road.

From Tallinn:
drive towards Pärnu up to Are village. Turn left from there and when you get to the Pärnu-Paide road turn left again. In three kilometers there is a sign to Tori town. In Tori town centre there is a sign to Soomaa National Park and Jõesuu (6km). About 50m after the Jõesuu settlement’s border there are signs that tell you to turn right to the Riisa village (8km). Riisa Rantšo is located in Riisa village on the right side of the road. The distance is about 150km from Tallinn to Riisa Rantšo.

From Viljandi:
drive along the Pärnu road about 20 km until you get to Kõpu village. Before the centre there are signs that show the way to the visitor centre of Soomaa National Park. Riisa Rantšo is located about 4km from the visitor centre of Soomaa National Park towards Pärnu on the left side of the road.

From Järvamaa, Lääne- ja Ida-Virumaa:
along the Rakvere-Paide-Pärnu road. After Selja village there is a sign to Tori and from there to Soomaa and Riisa village.
