Introduction
The Sälens Vandrarhem hostel is situated in a lovely setting in a nature reserve in the mountains, 25 km from the village of Sälen. The renowned footpath, the King’s Way or Kungsleden, is just 2.5 km from the hostel and the nearest ski resort with prepared country tracks and ski slopes are 10km away from the hostel. The south of Fulufjället National Park is 25 km away, the other mountain resorts in the Sälen area can be reached within 30 minutes. You can try your hand at game fishing or canoeing on the Görälven river just 300 meters from the hostel.
The hostel is open all year round. The price for one night stay is 150SEK for members of Hostelling International. If you are not a member, the price is 200SEK per night. If a group booking is required, please call the hostel before and discuss the price.
