Our foundation also participates in the enlargement of the network through promoting it throughout our network of tourism partners. Wild Europe Initiative - PAN Parks is a Steering Committee member since the establishment of the partnership which promotes a coordinated strategy for protection and restoration of wilderness. www.wildeurope.org
European Habitat Forum is based in Brussels. PAN Parks is among the leading European nature conservation organisations that provide advice on the implementation and future development of EU biodiversity policy through EHF. We joined in April 2010. www.iucn.org

Wilderness Specialists Group of IUCN, which is a global network of organisations and individuals committed to better preservation of the Earth's last pieces of wilderness areas. www.wildernesstaskforce.org
 

Our research partners include:

PAN Parks Foundation coordinates the development and implementation of a European wilderness research agenda. This programme is not only a tool to generate scientific evidence but also an important tool for providing additional expertise to our protected area partners. The research agenda follows a multidisciplinary approach thus our Foundation works with a wide range of expertise from the field of ecology to economy. The list of our most important partners include the following institutions: Wildland Research Institute, University of Lisbon, Klagenfurt University, Colorado State University
